Lineweight

Jill of all Trades

My continued interest, desire to learn and my work with Lineweight helped me to continue building a foundation in user experience.

Similarly to Sqord, initially I provided photography services for some of our clients by providing corporate headshots and authentic imagery for their websites rather than using generic stock photography.

I found that being creative I have always had an incredible eye for detail.  I provided content editing and site testing to ensure a great user experience.  I love the hunt of looking for errors, inconsistencies, and confusing processes that need to be fixed in order to provide a better user experience.  My goal was always to try and put myself in the user's shoes to see things from their perspective.  On one particular project, Blazepanel, I was responsible for all site testing, bug reporting and and maintenance of the error log.  Additionally, I was responsible for writing all the help content.

So much of what we do involves ideation, sitting down at a table and brainstorming ideas with a team and possibly stakeholders.  I was involved with meetings at Lineweight where we sat down to gain knowledge about what users needed, to solve their problems, and to come up with creative solutions.

For other projects, I was responsible for creating user flows of clients existing sites in Miro.  Being detail oriented and slightly OCD, I love this process and it is probably my favorite part of user experience.  I enjoy making sense of a site and breaking it down to it's most simplistic terms to see how a user navigates and moves through it and finding potential issues and/or ways to do it better.

When Lineweight took up residency at the American Underground in Durham, I was the face of the office and managed our space... including the candy jar.
